Jennifer attended Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She began her public accounting career at a Big 4 accounting firm in Houston, Texas. She started her own accounting firm in 2000 and quickly grew to be a recognized provider of tax and accounting services in Fort Bend County. In 2015, Jennifer merged her accounting firm with Bailes Bates and Associates.

She provides tax and accounting solutions for all types of businesses in a variety of industries. Her expertise is working with closely held businesses and high net worth individuals. She specializes in helping clients with start-up businesses choose their business entity, set up bookkeeping and payroll processes, and create efficient tax strategies. She works with clients year round on tax compliance, projections, planning, and resolving IRS matters.

She is also a Financial Advisor with Wealth Management Investment Advisors, LLC and is a licensed investment advisor representative. She is a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Houston Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants.

She lives in Sienna Plantation with her husband, Joe, and their 3 children – Grayson, Grant, & Lauren. In her spare time, she leads a Girl Scout troop, teaches junior high religious education, volunteers at schools, and serves as team mom for her children’s various sports teams.
